Burna Boy, a Grammy-winning Nigerian musician, has won his first NME awards as the “Best Solo Act In The World.”
Burna Boy apologized to his fans for not being present at the event to celebrate his big win with them, but he appreciated how they brightened up the event on his behalf.
The NME Awards are an annual music awards show held in the United Kingdom that was founded by the music magazine NME. The first awards show, known as the NME Poll Winners Concerts, was held in 1953, shortly after the magazine’s founding.
This is the first time Burna Boy has won from the award platform, and he expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the organizers.
