Africa’s Boyfriend, Ckay Receives His First Music Plaque
Nigerian singer, Chukwuka Ekweani, popularly known as Ckay has received his first music plaque for his 2019 song, “Love Nwantiti”.
This is coming after “love Nwantiti” became certified silver in the United Kingdom for selling over 200,000 units.
Taking to his Instagram page, Ckay filled with joy, shared the exciting news with his 657k followers.
Sharing photos, he wrote;
my first plaque đżđŹđ§đâ¨.
Ckay’s friends and colleagues like Davido, Zlatan, took to his comment section to congratulate him. American singer, Neyo and Jamaican musician, Jada Kingdom also congratulated him on his big win.
âLove Nwatitiâ was released by Ckay back in 2019. The songâs remix was released in 2020 and it features fellow Nigerian singer, Joeboy and Ghanaian singer, Kuami Eugene.
So far, âLove Nwatitiâ has become a huge success in Nigeria and the world at large. The song has also been translated into various languages including French, Garman, Spanish and more.
