Popular Nigerian singer, Wizkid, has secured the most nominations for this year’s All Africa Music Awards(AFRIMA).

The “Essence” crooner was able to grab 6 nominations at the AFRIMA 2021.

The categories includes; Best Male West Africa, Best Album for “Made in Lagos”, Artist of the Year, Song of the Year(Essence), Best African Collab(Essence), and Best Duo in African R&B along with Tems(Essence).

Daddy Yo was not the only Nigerian artist that was nominated for the Awards . Davido, Omah Lay, and Patoranking all secured four nominations each. Meanwhile, Burna Boy, Tems, Tiwa Savage, Olakira, Bella Shmurda, and Vector all had three nominations at this year’s event. Yemi Alade, Ladipoe, and the Isomers have two nominations.
