FULL LIST: Burna Boy, Wizkid, Davido, Others Bags Nomination At The 2021 MOBO Awards
Nigerian superstars, Burna Boy, Davido, and Wizkid are among the 10 artists nominated for the Best African Act award at this year’s MOBO Awards show.
Of the 10 names on this list of nominees in this particular category, 8 are Nigerian by nationality, while the other two are Ghana’s King Promise and British-African music group, NSG. Other Nigerians on this list nominees asides from the aforementioned include; CKay, Tiwa Savage, Rema, Tems, and Ayra Starr.
Surprisingly, Mavin Records star, Rema was nonimated in the category of ‘Best international act’ alongside top international artist like Doja Cat, Drake, Kanye West, Lil Nas X, Megan Thee Stallion, Wizkid and others.
The MOBO Awards is an annual British awards ceremony that celebrates achievements in “music of black origin“. The show honors the best of the best in Hip-Hop, Grime, R&B, Soul, Reggae, Jazz, Gospel, and African Music. The 2021 edition of the MOBO Awards will hold at Coventry’s CBS Arena on Sunday, the 5th of December 2021.
