Graduating student summersaults to his death while celebrating after final exams (Video)

A student from Ghana’s University of Education, Winneba (UEW), died while celebrating the completion of his final exam. Sani Abdul Majeed, the student, somersaulted but did not land on his feet.

One of Sani’s colleagues is seen somersaulting in a video of the incident, which occurred on September 7. Sani then makes an attempt to imitate him. He landed well the first time he somersaulted, but he landed with his head the second time.

He was brought to Winneba’s Trauma and Specialist Hospital for treatment before being moved to an Accra hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on September 9.

Sani Abdul Majeed was a student of the Department of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Sports.

The Students’ Representative Council of the university released a message of condolence to sympathize with the family of the deceased.
