“Is Marriage A Care Taking Service?” – Dancer, Kaffy Quizzes

Popular Nigerian Dancer, Kafayat Oluwatoyin Shafau popularly known by her stage name Kaffy has taken to social media to throw some questions at her fans and followers, concerning marriage.

Kaffy, is a Nigerian dancer, choreographer, dance instructor and fitness coach. She is best known for breaking the Guinness World Record for “Longest Dance Party” at the Nokia Silverbird Danceathon in 2006.

Taking to her social media page on Instagram, Kaffy throwed some marriage related questions to her fans and followers, asking why does people choose money over adultery when Christ clearly stated that adultery is the one thing that can break a marriage?.

Her post was captioned;

“Is marriage a caretaking service? Is that the essence of it ? “As long as he provides” or as long as he doesn’t do it near home “is a common phrase I have heard Over and over from young and old , men and women and it’s alooot of people I have encountered with this thought . Is it that our values and moral compass has shifted? Just thinking out loud . The family system is the fabric of the society and whatever we breed is what will live with us and among us .

As we are all going through tough period in this country let’s take some time off to reflect on who we are behind closed doors.

@oluhdee:-Standards of loyalty are being redefined to mean ‘as long as I’m the first or as long as it’s done far away from me or as long as he still performs his role as husband’ the funny thing is a lot of women are the ones adjusting the scope of the meaning of loyalty. Truth is a lot of men don’t think that way. When a wife cheats, she cheats… there’s no other way to see it. I just fear for the coming generation…
