A video that has gone viral on social media shows a Nigerian man’s body resisting a machete cut after allegedly undergoing a ritual known as ‘odeshi.’
The ‘odeshi’ ritual, which is mostly used by thugs and armed robbers, is said to involve fetish black magic powers that “protect” one from harmful things.
In the video, the man stood motionless while his colleague tested the odeshi’s potency by hitting him with the machete. The machete swerved away from him, causing no harm.
