Real Madrid have confirmed they signed the Austrian professional footballer David Alaba from Bayern Munich on a five-year contract.
David Olatukunbo Alaba is an Austrian professional footballer who was born on 24 June 1992. He holds Austria’s record as the second youngest player to play for their senior national team, debuting for them in 2009 as a 17-year-old.
However, the announcement of the signing of the 28-year-old Austria International player, who had also been linked with several English Premier League clubs, comes a day after Zinedine Zidane quit as Real coach.
Madrid said in a statement:
Real Madrid has reached an agreement with David Alaba, who will be linked to the club for the next five seasons.
