Yul Edochie, a Nigerian actor and director, has expressed displeasure with the recent behavior of some up-and-coming actors in the film industry.

Yul Edochi lamented on his Instagram page on Thursday about how some young actors do not respect those who have come before them in the industry.

According to him, he has been in the industry for over a decade and deserves to be in charge of artiste fees, but the young guys in the business want to be on their level.

In his words:

When you see me now collecting big artiste fees and living well, don’t beef, and stop shouting ‘God when?’.

We’re not mates. That’s me, the guy holding the guitar. Movie Title: New Jerusalem. Shot in 2005. 17 years of hard work and consistency so far.

Success takes time. Some young Nollywood actors now, after just two years of hustle, they’re already complaining that they haven’t made it.
