Who is Mike Ezuruonye?

Mike Ezuruonye (born September 21, 1982) in Lagos, Nigeria, hails from Uzoakoli in Abia State, Nigeria, is a Nigerian actor, filmmaker, and writer.

He is known to have worked as a banker prior to becoming an actor.

Parents:
The names of Mike’s parents are unknown for now. Mike Ezuruonye is the eldest of four siblings in his family, and he lost his father at an early age, making him take on a fatherly responsibility.

Early life:
Born in Lagos, Nigeria, on the 21st of September, 1982 Mike Ezuruonye had his primary education in Northern Nigeria (Taraba State) and later continued his school years in Lagos at Archbishop Aggey Memorial School.

Siblings:
Mike Ezuruonye is the Eldest of four siblings. One of his Siblings Chichi Ezuruonye (sister) is a Physician in United Kingdom.

Education:
Mike Ezuruonye attended the Federal Government College, Wukari, Taraba and Archbishop Aggey Memorial School, Lagos before studying Accounting at Nnamdi Azikiwe University.

Relationship & Marriage:
Mike got married to the love of his life, Keke Nkechi Nnorom in 2010. Nkechi is a medical psychologist in Canada. They met when she came to Nigeria, at one of Mike’s movie set in Abuja in 2009. Their meeting took place in 2009.

Nkechi used to live in Canada, where she worked as a medical psychologist. The gorgeous wedding took place in November 2010 at the Folawiyo Bankole Methodist Church in Lagos. Together, they have a son (Reynold Ezuruonye) and a daughter (Elsa Ezuruonye).

Career:
Ezuruonye made his professional debut in the TV series Ultimate Hero, and got his first big role in Broken Marriage (2003). Subsequently, he has played several lead roles in popular movies like Beyond Reason (2004), Emotional Risk (2007), Critical Decision e.t.c All of which further made him influential in the industry.

In his quest to be better and become a professional movie director, he took a break to attend a film school in Canada. On his return, he made his official directorial debut with the movie, Divorce Not Allowed and Brother Jekwu (2016). These movies were positively received both locally and internationally.

Ezuruonye is a brand ambassador to Globacom. He was also endorsed by DPkay Real Estate Homes and Awards Ltd.
