The 2023 policy meeting, which is slated to take place on June 24th, 2023, will determine the cut-off marks for admissions into universities, polytechnics, and other higher institutions, according to information provided by JAMB.

All heads of tertiary institutions and regulatory authorities, including the National Universities Commission, National Board for Technical Education, and the National Commission for Colleges of Education, among others, are expected to attend the event, which will take place at the National Judicial Institute.

Apart from announcing the minimum cut-off scores for admission, the meeting will also set admission guidelines, chart policy directions for the country’s tertiary institutions, and review application statistics and performance.

It will also decide on reasonable and acceptable minimum admissions standards to be used in all admissions to be conducted by all tertiary institutions in Nigeria as well as evaluate the 2023 admission process.

The official start of the admission process for 2023–2024 will be signaled by the release of the cut-off scores. This indicates that fairly immediately following the conference, schools will begin publicizing the sale of their Post-UTME forms.

We will, as always, keep you informed of any changes to the cut-off scores and any post-UTME announcements from the various schools.
