8 Months Old Son Of Rapper, Cassper Nyovest Makes Music History

Popular South African rapper and record producer, Cassper Nyovest has revealed that his eight month old son, Khotso is the youngest charting South African artist of all time.

Refiloe Maele Phoolo professionally known as Cassper Nyovest is a South African rapper, songwriter, entrepreneur and record producer. Born and raised in Mahikeng, North West, he is regarded as one of the most successful artist in South Africa.

In 2013, Cassper Nyovest bagged his first awards, winning four awards at the second edition of the South Africa Hip Hop Awards . On 13 April, he received a nomination at the 12th Headies Award in Nigeria in the category of Best African Artiste alongside Nasty C, Sarkodie from Ghana, Kenyan group Sauti Sol, and Tanzanian singer Vanessa Mdee.

Taking to his Twitter page on the 4th of July, the “Move For Me” hit-maker announced that his eight months old son, Khotso is the youngest South African Artist of all time, considering the fact that the eight month old made an appearance on his father’s latest album ‘Sweet and Short 2.0’.

Cassper Nyovest tweeted;

“Khotso is the youngest charting South African artist of all time. At 8 months my son made it to No 4 on ITunes with his feature on Khotso, which is a song dedicated to him.”
