“Fans putting pressure on me to have a boyfriend and get married” – Seyi Shay Disclose

Popular Nigerian artiste, Seyi Shay has come up to disclose how her fans has been pressuring her to get married and have kids.

Seyi Shay was born and raised in Tottenham, London, England. Her mother is from Northern part of Nigeria and her father is a native of Ife. She has two elder brothers and an elder sister. Shay grew up in a Christian home. She often felt like a single child during her adolescence as she is the single child between her mother and father.

The singer started visiting Nigeria when she was two years old, and eventually attended the Command High School in Maryland, Lagos. She went back to London to complete her undergraduate studies, where she also attended and graduated from the University of East London, with a BA Hons in Music business management.

Seyi Shay in a statement disclosed that her fans are putting pressure on her to get married and have kids.

The singer who is also a judge on the Nigerian Idol reality show revealed this in a chat with HipTV, noting that her fans also pressured her to release more raunchy photos on social media.

I feel pressure from my fans to get married, have babies, have a boyfriend; that is all before the pressure to release a new single sometimes. That is really crazy. Pressure to show some more butt pictures. The pressure is high, but it is good.
