“Funke Will Not Stoop to Your Level, But Rather Inspire You to Change” – Eniola Badmus Reacts to Iyabo’s Outburst

Eniola Badmus has reacted to actress Iyabo Ojo’s outburst in which she accused Funke Akindele of bribing a well-known film reviewer – Cinema Pointer to trash Toyin Abraham’s movie.

 

Iyaba Ojo summoned the courage to take the bull by the horns, stormed the critic’s Instagram page, and expressed her disappointment. She accused Funke Akindele of being envious and pessimistic, and she predicted that The Ghost and The Tout 2 would outperform Funke’s Omo Ghetto: The Eniola Badmus has reacted on Funke Akindele’s behalf, despite the fact that she has stayed far away from the outburst.

Eniola Badmus who happens to be one of Funke Akindele’s best friends wrote When People throw you stones, it is because you are a good tree full of fruits. They see a lot of harvest in you. Don’t go down to their level by throwing them back the stones, but throw them your fruits so the seeds of yourself may inspire them to change their ways.

And Funke Akindele acknowledged the post saying

First time you making sense, thank God!

Many of her supporters, as predicted, instantly inferred that the tweet was a subtle attack at Iyabo Ojo. One of them wrote

Iyabo Ojo should catch her sub ooooo! Who God has blessed, no man can curse, Omo Ghetto the Saga

According to reports, their rivalry became pronounced after Toyin Abraham recently announced a sequel to her  movie, The Ghost and the Tout, for September 10, 2021, and interestingly, Funke Akindele, who had completely shunned Toyin’s movie poster, also announced the same date, September 10, for the release of her Omo Ghetto the Saga film on Netflix, a move that divided their fans.

 

Iyabo Ojo accused Funke Akindele of paying a popular movie critic to trash Toyin Abraham’s film over the weekend, escalating the rivalry.
