Nigerian songstress, Tems aka ” the Rebel queen”, has hit a new millstone on Swedish audio streaming, Spotify.

The “Try Me” crooner is currently the most streamed Afrobeats artiste with over 70 million streams, surpassing Tiwa with over 62 million streams and trashing her record of 7.3 million streams.

This is coming days after Tems surpassed Yemi Alade as the second most streamed Afrobeat artiste.

Tems’ musical career skyrocketed after she was featured on Canadian rapper, Drake’s “Fountain” song off his “Certified Lover Boy” album, not forgetting her contribution on Wizkid’s smashing song, “Essence”.

Recall that weeks ago, Tems became the first African act to appear on two songs on Billboard Hot 10 .  She appeared at number 26 on Billboard hot 100 chart alongside Drake on ‘Fountains‘ and equally appears at number 34 on the chart alongside Wizkid and Justin Bieber on ‘Essence (Remix)’.
