CKay Reveals He Made “Love Nwantiti” In The Living Room(Video)

Nigerian singer, Chukwuka Ekweani, known professionally as Ckay, has disclosed that he made his smashing tune, “Love Nwantiti” in the living room while in 1004 house, Victoria Island and not the studio.

Ckay calls out former Label, Chocolate City for Hindering his Career in the  Past

The singer made this known during new episode of Adesope Live podcast led by popular Nigerian music executive based in London, Adesope Olajide.

Ckay while describing his big break into the Nigerian music industry said that when he moved to Lagos, he got signed into the Chocolate City, the moved to Warner Music Group, where he worked as beat producer and music writer adding that is where is career kicked off.

Ckay further stated that his music journey is a situation of him following a process just like everyone  adding that despite his break into the music  industry his music is still an ongoing journey going somewhere.

Speaking about the song “Love Nwantiti” with over 183 million followers on Youtube, Ckay asserted that he made the beat for the hit song around the midnight, he freestyled on it and then goes to sleep then when he wakes up in the morning, he started adding lyrics to the song.

Speaking about his performance at Wizkid day 3 “Made In Lagos” concert in 02 arena, London, Ckay described the night as one of the crazy moment in his life.

He added that the guitar idea which he played at concert was Wizkid’s idea adding it was a last minute call from Wizkid and he has to be there for the singer.
