I owe my success to nobody, I was already famous before meeting Poco Lee and Olamide – Portable
Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, a Nigerian street-hop artist, has stated that he is solely responsible for his success.
He stated that, contrary to popular belief, he was not ‘blown’ by any other musician or member of the entertainment industry.
Recounts that he rose to prominence in December 2021 after Poco Lee introduced him to rapper Olamide, who subsequently hopped on the hit remix of Zazuu.
Portable, however, stated in an interview on Echo Room that he was already well-known before meeting both of them. “Nobody made him famous,” he said.
The Zazuu celebrity, who characterized himself as a kid of grace, believed that he was already famous and that everyone wanted to be associated with him.
“Shey me I see anybody help me ni? As I dey like this, if no be sey I get grace. Everybody DM me. Nobody blow me. I don blow before I meet Poco Lee and Olamide,” Portable said.
