Tems, a Grammy-winning singer from Nigeria, is best known for her abilities in songwriting and singing, but few people are aware of her production abilities.
Tems was candid in a brief interview with a young reporter about how she came to be a musician.
The Try Me hitmaker claimed that nobody back then would have agreed to work with her and produce for her, so she began producing.
Tems claimed that after receiving rejections, she realized that she could also try her hand at producing.
“No one wanted to produce for me back then and so I said ‘You know what? I can do this myself’,” she said.
