Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter, Joeboy, has taken to social media once again to plead to his fans doing the #AlcoholChallenge to stop drinking and pouring harmful stuff on their bodies.

Following the release of Joeboy’s “Alcohol” song, it has been trending TikTok. Over the past week, fans have recorded themselves pouring different liquids on their heads and bodies, with some going as far as consuming them while ”Alcohol” plays in the background.

Some of the liquids used includes; dettol antiseptic, dirty water, hypo bleach, alcoholic drinks, palm oil, amongst other substances.

Although Joeboy hopped on social media to caution his fans, the heat kept getting hotter and hotter as more #AlcoholChallenge videos hit the video sharing platform.

The crooner recently took to his social media once again to plead with fans.

‘‘So in addition to not pouring stuff on your bodies, PLS STOP INGESTING UNHEALTHY THINGS too. Let’s enjoy the song AND stay alive. Bless” – Joeboy wrote on Twitter.
