Another Big Win For Tems As She Collaborate With Rihanna For Black Panther Wakanda Soundtrack
Popular Nigerian music star, Tems, has gotten another international relevance after she collaborated with Rihanna to produce the Marvel Movie’s ‘Wakanda Forever’ Soundtrack.
Robyn Fenty, popularly known as Rihanna, announced the release of her new single, the first after a six-year hiatus from the music industry.
The soundtrack for the Marvel film “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” “Lift Me Up,” will be released by Rihanna, who has spent recent years concentrating on her successful fashion and beauty enterprise.
On Wednesday, Rihanna teased a video of the song on her Twitter page, writing the comment, “Lift me up 10.28.2022.”
According to Billboard, Tems from Nigeria, Ludwig Göransson, Ryan Coogler, and Rihanna collaborated on the song “Lift Me Up.”
The song was written as a tribute to Chadwick Boseman, who portrayed the main character in the original Black Panther movie and died in 2020 at the age of 43. It will be released on November 4.
In a press statement, Tems said,
“After speaking with Ryan and hearing his direction for the film and the song, I wanted to write something that portrays a warm embrace from all the people that I’ve lost in my life.
“I tried to imagine what it would feel like if I could sing to them now and express how much I miss them
“Rihanna has been an inspiration to me so hearing her convey this song is a great honor.”
