Ghanaian actress Juliet Ibrahim, took to social media to call out women who slut-shame each other when ever they have argument.Juliet Ibrahim Confesses Of Snatching Her Friend's Boyfriend

According to the actress, it is quite wrong for any woman to describe another woman as ‘slut’ or ‘whore’ whenever there’s a disagreement between them.

The actress further noted that women that slut-shame each other are agents working against the universal women empowerment agenda.

In an Instagram post, she wrote;

Why are women so comfortable slut-shaming each other whenever there’s an altercation?

It is NOT okay when the male gender calls a female a slut but we’re saying it’s okay for females to slut-shame themselves?
slut’ and ‘whore’ still possess the power to destroy the lives of individual women and young girls.

Women are in the world fighting for gender equality in every sector of life; so ladies isn’t it better we stop the double standards and focus on supporting each other rather than bringing each other down as women?

You can’t claim women empowerment or even feminism if the cultures and our society are not set straight. For instance how do you want men to respect women especially around the African continent when you women or families of women getting married continue to ask for bride price. It doesn’t make any sense to me. Cheers lovely woman❤️❤️❤️

In a society where women see each other as competition or one feels she’s better than the other it will be hard.
