Some Nigerians have petitioned the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to arrest Nigerian comedian Emmanuel Chuwkwuemeka Ejekwu, often known as “Sabinus,” for supporting and advertising a Ponzi scheme company, AI Mining, which has allegedly robbed numerous people.
The celebrity had pushed the platform in many videos, encouraging people to invest in it. He was also one of its representatives.
Chiamaka Glory is said to be the owner of the Ponzi scheme. SaharaReporters discovered that the app had failed, leaving investors owed money stuck.
Sabinus is being chastised by some subscribers who invested in the program. According to reports, the comic has been silent since the app broke.
