‘Islands’ housemates Adekunle, Shegzz, and Chi Chi got into a heated argument on BBNaija’s ‘Level Up.’
It all began when Adekunle narrated his group’s drama, mentioning a “village girl from Benin City.” Diana, who is from Benin, took offense to his words and misinterpreted them.
Benin, she said, is not a village, and she defended her hometown. Adekunle tried to explain what he meant to her in response. He apologized for being condescending because Alysyn is also from Benin.
Surprisingly, after hearing his explanation, Chi Chi became enraged and verbally attacked him.
Adekunle responded by saying Chi Chi wants people to understand her but doesn’t reciprocate.
He wondered if she had any personal issues with him that caused her to take his words out of context.
Sheggz sided with Chi Chi and Diane and chastised Adekunle. He also chastised his love interest, Bella, for siding with Adekunle.
This sparked a heated argument in which words were exchanged. Sheggz was told to fuck off by Doyin. Sheggz was upset by this and told her she had violated him.
