Photos have emerged showing Britney Spears and Victor Wembanyama heading towards the entrance of a restaurant. According to a witness, Spears approached Wembanyama from behind and tried to tap him on the shoulder, which resulted in a physical altercation with security personnel.

Contradictory information has been received from a high-ranking source in the Metro PD regarding the police investigation. The source confirms that it is indeed a criminal investigation and is being taken very seriously. The case will likely be referred to the District Attorney, although it does not necessarily mean that criminal charges will be filed.

Authorities from the Las Vegas police will be meeting with Britney face-to-face to discuss the incident. There is footage of them walking through the lobby towards her suite.

Law enforcement sources report that the security camera footage reviewed by the responding officers at ARIA showed Smith, the Director of Team Security for the Spurs, pushing Britney’s hand away. As a result, her hand, not Smith’s, struck her face. The force of the swing was not addressed by the police.

It is now known that the individual listed on the police report as the one who slapped Britney is Damian Smith, the Director of Team Security for the Spurs. The incident is not being treated as a criminal matter since the police determined that Smith was not attempting to harm Britney but was instead defending Victor Wembanyama.

Britney Spears allegedly experienced an assault on Wednesday night in Vegas when a member of Victor Wembanyama’s security team backhanded her in the face. She has filed a police report regarding the incident.

The altercation took place at Catch restaurant in the ARIA Hotel at around 8:30 PM. Britney, accompanied by her husband Sam Asghari and two others, went to the restaurant for dinner. As she entered the casino, she was surrounded by fans.

While heading towards Catch, Britney spotted Victor and approached him to ask for a photo together, as she is reportedly a fan. She tapped him on his right shoulder, and at that moment, the Director of Team Security for the San Antonio Spurs, who recently drafted Victor, backhanded her, causing her to fall and lose her glasses.

Britney regained her composure and went to her table. The security guard later approached her and apologized, explaining that being swarmed by fans can be overwhelming. He also mentioned that he didn’t recognize her when he slapped her.

Following the incident, Britney’s security team interacted with Victor’s security personnel, and Britney’s team subsequently filed a police report with the Metropolitan Police Department, alleging battery.
