Popular Nigerian Nigerian filmmaker and publisher, Onyeka Nwelue has disclosed that most Chinese nationals in Nigeria are sent into the country to serve their prison terms.

The talk-show host made this known in a post he shared via his  social media handle on popular micro blogging platform, Twitter.

According to him, the prisoners are sent into the country to work hence the working is a form of those Chinese serving their jail term in China.

He wrote;

“Did you know that most Chinese people you see in Nigeria are serving out their prison sentences? Some of them can be seen wearing electronic sensors locked around their ankles.”
