Nigerian music artistes, Ckay and Wizkid, have secured the top two spot on the most shazamed songs in the United States chart.

This did not come as a surprise as CKay and Wizkid are currently two of the most talked about acts in Nigeria and the world at large.

Ckay’s recently debuted on Billboard, charting on 4 different chart including  Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart,  Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart , Billboard Global Excl. U.S. and Billboard hot 100 chart. Wizkid on the other hand has being on the Billboard charts for weeks and his “Made In Lagos” album recently became the longest-charting African album of all time with 47 weeks.

Ckay’s ‘Love Nwantiti‘ remix(ft. Axel and DJ Yo) and Wizkid’s “Essence”(ft. Tems), are currently seating comfortably on the number 1 and 2 spot respectively on the most shazam song in the US chart.

Other acts on the charts includes Italian rock band Måneskin, LilNas X, Jack Harlow, Puerto Rican singer Farruko, The Kid LAROI, Justin Bieber, Walker Hayes, Drake, Ed Sheeran and others.
