CKay Now Spotify’s 95th Artist In The World
Nigerian superstar, Chukwuka Ekeani aka CKay, has broken into the top 100 artists on Spotify’s rankings.
The crooner hit the new millstone following the success of his 2019 smashing tune, “Love Nwatiti”. The singer also recently became the first African artist to cross 20 million monthly listeners on Spotify. Ckay currently has a total of 26,780,688 million monthly listeners as of the time this post was made.
TikTok contributed massively to the grown of CKay’s Love Nwatiti and that reflected heavily in his Spotify rankings growth. The song has become the subject of a lot of TikTok challenges and it translated to massive growth for the artist across all platforms. CKay also recently became the first African act to make a debut on the Billboard Independent Albums Charts and is currently sitting on the number 15 spot on Billboard Hot 100 chart.
