Fast-rising singer, Ckay is currently sitting comfortably on the number one spot on US Billboard Emerging Artists chart.

The new millstone was announced by Billboard via their official website on Thursday, the 11th of November, 2021.

According to Billboard, it is the first time the crooner has topped the chart and it’s all thanks to the success of his breakthrough single “Love Nwantiti (Ah Ah Ah).”

With 10.6 million radio audience impressions, 10.4 million US streams, and 2,200 downloads, ‘Love Nwantiti’ ranks at No. 33, after reaching No. 31, on its Hot 100.

‘Love Nwantiti’ concurrently sits at No. 4 on the Billboard’s Global Excl US chart and No. 5 on the Billboard Global 200, after reaching No. 2 on both lists.

The Emerging Artists chart ranks the most popular developing artists of the week, using the same formula as the all-encompassing Billboard Artist 100, which measures artist activity across multiple Billboard charts, including the Hot 100, Billboard 200 and the Social 50.
