Nigerian musician, CKay is currently in high spirit after his smashing turn, “Love Nwatiti” debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.

“Love Nwatiti” peaked at no. 80 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, bagging the crooner his first appearance on the international chart.

This was announced by Billboard Chart via their Social media handle on Monday, the 27th of September 2021. They wrote;

.@ckay_yo’s “Love Nwantiti (Ah Ah Ah)” debuts at No. 80 on this week’s #Hot100. It’s his first career entry on the chart.

This is coming hours after Ckay surpassed Wizkid, Burna boy, davido, to become the second African artist with the most monthly listeners on popular music streaming platform, Spotify.

The crooner currently has over  10. 612 million monthly listeners, while Big Wiz has 10. 135 million listeners. Tems is still leading the chart with over 14.778  million monthly listeners.

Other African artists who made appeared on Spotify’s list are;  Burna boy with 9,782 million listeners, Mr Eazi with 4.4748 million listeners, Davido with 3.577 million listeners, and Rema with  3.051 million listeners.
