Nigerian heavyweight singers, Davido, Tiwa Savage, Don Jazzy, Cuppy, Reminisce, Olamide, Ladipoe and others are campaigning for their colleague, Fireboy DML.

The music stars took to their respective Instagram pages to join the YBNL signee in campaigning for his smashing tune, ‘PERU’ to reach Number #1 on the UK official charts .

The song is currently sitting on the number 2 and 3 on various UK Official Charts, but if it reaches number 1, it will become the first afrobeat record to achieve such a feat.

Fireboy, Olamide and the others re-posted the picture with #perufornumber1 on their IG stories. They urged their fans and followers to aggressively stream the song and help Fireboy make history.

Produced by Shizzi, ‘Peru’ was released mid 2021 and the Remix which featured multiple Grammy award winner, Ed Sheeran came out late (Dec.) 2021 with an official music video.
