Popular Nigeria singer, David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, is officially the first African Artist to hit 10 million popular micro-blogging platform, Instagram.

The “Champion Sound” crooner hit the new millstone just 24 hours after the Federal Government lifted the 7 months Twitter suspension.

Recall that President Buhari implemented the ban after Nigerians called him out for his genocide tweet on the microblogging.

The tweet had read;

I receive daily security reports on the attacks on critical national infrastructure, and it is very clear that those behind them want this administration to fail. Whoever wants the destruction of the system will soon have the shock of their lives. We’ve given them enough time.

“Many of those misbehaving today are too young to be aware of the destruction and loss of lives that occurred during the Nigerian Civil War. Those of us in the fields for 30 months, who went through the war, will treat them in the language they understand”

You would also recall how the CEO of Twitter, Davido, and other celebrities actively bashed him for the tweet even after he deleted it.
