Don Jazzy Suggested I Name My Album Timeless – Davido Reveals

Davido, a top Nigerian musical artist, has revealed that veteran producer and Mavin Records owner Don Jazzy suggested the name “Timeless” for his new record-breaking album.

The successful musician revealed this while answering questions about his new album. He revealed that Don Jazzy suggested the album title to him in a private message last year.

Davido said: “funnily enough, Jazzy actually DMed me a year ago and suggested that I named my album Timeless.”

According to the singer, he nearly chose a different title before settling on ‘Timeless,’ as suggested by Don Jazzy.

Davido’s fourth studio album, ‘Timeless,’ was released on March 31, 2023. The album’s initial release was delayed due to the death of his first son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.

However, within 24 hours of its release, the album topped the Apple Music charts in over 17 countries and peaked at number two on the US Apple Music chart, breaking an African record.
