Eedris Abdulkareem Kidney Surgery Date Postphoned Indefinitely After Over N2.9m Raised

It is no longer news that veteran Nigerian rapper and musician Eedris Abdulkareem has been diagnosed with kidney failure and requires funds to undergo a kidney transplant.
A group of Eedris Abdulkareem’s friends and supporters set up a GoFundMe page to raise funds for his surgery and the medical costs associated with the kidney transplant.
According to the GoFundMe page, the singer was scheduled to have a kidney transplant on July 25 after a kidney donor match was found within his family.
However, it was announced today on Eedris’ Instagram page that the surgery, which was scheduled for July 27, had been moved forward by the doctors and that no substantive surgery date had been set.
