Wizkid’s “Essence” featuring fellow Nigerian R&B singer, Tems, has gained over 60 million Apple Music streams.

The new landmark was announced by Wizkid’s official fan page, @wizkidnews via their official Instagram page  on Thursday, the 19th of August 2021.

@wizkidnews also revealed that another song off the album, “Mighty Wine” had attained 5 million streams on Spotify.

They wrote;

@wizkidayo’s “Essence” (feat. @temsbaby) has surpassed 60 million streams on Apple Music! 

 “Mighty Wine” hits 5M on Spotify.

Ever since its release, Wizkid’s  fourth studio album “Made In Lagos” have become a major hit with over 600 million streams on all platforms. The album has also charted on numerous global charts.
