Heart-Breaking: Nigerian Olympic Finalist Spotted Washes His ‘Only’ Jersey Ahead Of Final(Video)

Nigerian-American track and field athlete, Chukwuebuka Enekwechi has resorted to ‘Wash and Wear’ of only jersey provided as he prepares for Tokyo 2020 shot put final.

Despite leading his country to the last round of the shot put event at the Olympics, Chukwuebuka, in a TikTok video shared on his Instagram page, disclosed that he only has one jersey and has to wash it at night in preparation for the next day’s games.

Chukwuebuka in not the only Nigerian athletes that has lamented over the harshness Nigerian athletes have been facing at the ongoing Tokyo 2020 Olympics due to the country’s apparent poor sport administrators. Other prominent athletes including sprint star, Blessing Okagbare and Basketball giant, Chimezie Metu also spoke on the issue.
