Popular Nigerian Singer, Mr. P, took to his social media account to question banks why they would go ahead and open accounts for people with someone else’s name without a valid means of identification.

This comes after many of his fans have accused him of being the one scamming people, an allegation he has repeatedly tried to refute.

Mr. P runs a Zoom lottery platform which scammers have used in disguise to scam many individuals.

Many people have pointed to the fact that his Zoom lottery platform has been getting a lot of people scammed, and these people usually come to say they pay money to an account bearing his name.

Mr. P has often tried to Wade off this type of allegation by saying that Zoom is not a giveaway platform that will require them to pay a certain sum of money in order for them to win a prize or get a bigger sum.

He said there is no way Zoom will call anyone who hasn’t won a lottery via their platform to cash in on some prize. But the story has often remained the same every time, as more people get scammed, prompting Mr. P to call out banks for allowing this type of scam to be propagated by impostors using his name.
