How my song caused the Conflict between Burna Boy and Davido – Yonda speaks
Yonda, a singer, explains how his song became the source of a rivalry between Davido and Burna Boy, two celebrity crooners.
The DMW signee revealed to Ameyaw TV that he created a song for Burna Boy, but he’slept on it,’ and Davido used it for one of his successful songs.
He claimed that the song was written expressly for the African Giant, but he couldn’t understand why Burna Boy was so cold towards it, prompting Davido to jump on it.
He went on to say that on the day Davido dropped the song, Burna Boy took to Twitter to sling shade that only he could understand.
In his words:
“I wrote that song to Burna first he slept on it and David took it from him. The thing is after I got signed to David Burna still f*cked with me. Burna slept on the song and David took the song from him, the day David dropped the song, Burna subbed him on Twitter.”
