“How una take buy am?” Nigerian secondary school girls show off their iPhone
A young Nigerian student has shared the phones his secondary school classmates use. Many who saw girls rocking iPhones wondered where they got the money to buy them.
The young Nigerian man named @tinycash34 tweeted the video of the iPhone models his classmates were using, and it quickly went viral on social media.
In the video, predominantly female secondary school pupils are seen sitting in a room using their phones. They all smiled and alternately displayed their iPhones.
The first female to display hers is using an XS Max. iPhone 11 and 12 are being used by two more females. Many questioned where they acquired the cash to buy them.
Some users of TikTok said that they had borrowed the phones since they didn’t think secondary school kids could afford them.
