I almost committed suicide in 2017, actor Kunle Remi revealed after DJ Twitch’s death

Nigerian actor Kunle Remi has spoken up about his prior struggles with depression and claimed that in 2017, he came dangerously close to committing suicide.

On Thursday, the Anikulapo actor uploaded a video to his Instagram page. Remi was reacting to the news that popular American DJ Twitch had killed suicide on Wednesday by expressing his sadness.

Remi continued by telling men to be honest about their problems and difficulties and to occasionally take a vacation when life becomes too much to manage because he has been there.

He continued by saying that God’s grace had helped him get through the difficult moment. The suicide of DJ Twitch was said to have occurred yesterday, and Remi remarked,

“I can definitely identify to it. Even while we always act like everything is fine, it never actually is. We experience a lot as males.

“I can remember posting a number of tweets in 2017 that I later removed. That was a very suicidal act. When I was going through a lot, feeling overwhelmed, and worrying excessively about my work a year later, I received a call from someone telling me to delete those tweets. I was constantly wondering, “Am I doing enough?” among other things. Do I suffice? Should I be with this person?
