“I didn’t feel good” – Pete Edochie blast his son speaks more on Yul taking a second wife

Veteran actor Pete Edochie has at last spoken out about his son Yul being married to a second woman.

The actor, who has been quiet about the incident since it happened, spoke up in an interview with Vanguard that was published on Saturday.

When asked how he felt about Yul marrying a second wife, Pete responded that although he didn’t like his son’s choice, he wouldn’t hold it against him because the biblical figure Solomon also had several wives and concubines.

“I didn’t feel good, but like I said I’m a Christian and I read the Bible. Solomon, with 700 wives and 300 concubines, was branded a man of wisdom. it’s his choice and for whatever reason he decided to take a second wife, that’s all I can say.”

In April, after Yul announced his engagement to Judy Austin, an actress, the couple made headlines. “They already have a son together,” the actor added.

Reacting in the comment section of the post, his first wife wrote to the actor and Judy saying, “May God judge you both.”

Yul, the last child of Pete, married his first wife at the age of 22.

In their 18 years of marriage, the actor and his wife have been blessed with four children: Danielle, Kambi, Karl, and Victory Edochie.
