“I have apologized to you countless times sincerely from my heart” – Yul Edochie pens fresh heartfelt apology to wife May

Yul Edochie, a well-known Nigerian actor, recently generated buzz on social media after he offered a heartfelt apology to May Edochie, his first wife.

Following his contentious second marriage to Judy, Yul has been the target of criticism on social media for several months.

May Edochie, the actor’s first wife and the mother of his four children, did not appear to handle the news well either, based on her social media posts.

On Wednesday afternoon, the actor posted a lengthy letter to his first wife, May, on his official Instagram account. In the letter, he expressed regret and showed remorse.

In his post, Yul stated that he had apologized to May numerous times and that he accepted responsibility for his acts.

His words;

To my dear wife, Queen May Yul-Edochie, l acknowledge that I hurt you deeply and I’ve apologized to you countless times. I take the blame for my actions.

l agree with you that polygamy shouldn’t be forced on anyone. You never bargained for it from the beginning neither did I. ButI guess life happens. You already know the whole story.”

The movie star further noted that May has been cold towards him despite being supportive to her and their kids.

“I didn’t do it to disrespect you, I didn’t do it to replace you nor because I do not love you anymore, no. I have always loved you and always will. ‘ve been a good husband and a wonderful father.

I’ve supported all your hustle from day one, I have been an exceptional father to our children till date making sure they lack nothing and always there for everyone. Out of 100 I have dorne 99 things right, hating me because of one thing isn’t the best.”

He added by admitting his wrongdoings and urged May to let bygones be bygones so they can live peacefully.

“Nobody is perfect. l’m not. You’re not. Nobody is, except God. I assure you that nobody is trying to take your place.

I have apologized to you countless times sincerely from my heart. I’m sorry. I’ve always loved you and always will. Butuo nwanyi oma. We can live peacefully and happily.”
