‘I miss you, I love you, and I’m truly sorry’ – Fancy Acholonu tenders apology to ex-fiancé, Alexx Ekubo
More than a year after breaking off their engagement, Fancy Acholonu, the ex-fiancee of Nigerian star Alexx Ekubo, has publicly apologized to him.
She expressed regret for how she ended their marriage plans and for how she went about breaking things up.
The couple became engaged in May 2021, but they broke off their engagement and parted ways in August 2021.
On Thursday, designer entrepreneur Fancy said on her Instagram page that she still loves and misses Alex.
Additionally, she made an apology request for the impact the announcement of their broken engagement had on the movie star’s family.
She shared a vintage video of them wearing matching t-shirts, in which she made the statement that nothing makes sense while they are apart.
The woman claimed that she was visibly moved when she made the news and that she had learned her lesson about how to handle challenging circumstances better.
In her words;
“Like our shirt says, Nothing makes sense when we’re apart @alexxekubo you still have my heart. I miss you, I love you, and I’m truly sorry for all the hurt & pain you and your family went through with our break up.
My actions in how I handled things was out of my character. I should have controlled my emotions and not been so overreactive. I said too much, I did too much. Please forgive me, I’ve learned my lesson on how to handle situations better.
I haven’t expressed myself properly. I’m not afraid to be vulnerable and say you, your family, & friends still mean the world to me. Losing you has felt like grief. Love heals ❤️ #FalexxForever ♾ 💎”
