“I was brainwashed” Actress Bimbo Ademoye Makes Striking Revealation

Nollywood actress Bimbo Ademoye has taken to social media to discuss how growing up in the hood nearly killed her.

According to the curvy script interpreter, she grew up believing that American superstars such as Celine Dion, Angelina Jolie, and Akon were Nigerians.

Bimbo Ademoye revealed that she had been brainwashed into believing that these mega celebrities were Nigerians and that their names were simply a ‘tush form’ of their Nigerian names.

She wrote on her Instagram story,

“Growing up in the hood nearly finished my life. I was brainwashed into thinking Akon, Celine Dion and Angelina Jolie were Nigerians. Boda femi told me akon was akanni muftau, Celine Dion is Calabar and her real name was Celina Odion, Angelina Jolie was angelica jubril. Boda femi with all due respect, ori yin o da egbon”.
