“If I No Win…This Country No Go contain Us.” – Portable Warns Headies

Portable, a Nigerian street-hop musician, has issued a harsh warning to the Headies award organizers before the award presentation.

Headies, Nigeria’s biggest music and entertainment award, announced nominees for its 15th edition award event on July 2nd, according to Novice2star.

Portable, also known as Habeeb Okikiola, became a music star in Nigeria last December when his song Zazuu (with Olamide) went viral and received two nominations.

He’s in the running for Rookie of the Year and Best Street-hop Artist.

However, he has responded to the nominations.

He came to Twitter about an hour ago to say what he would do if he didn’t win ‘any Headies award.’

He said, ‘If I no win any headies award, this country no go contain us’.
