VIDEO: IG Comedian Cute Abiola Breaks Silence On His Arrest
Popular Nigerian comedian and Naval officer, Ahmed Gafar, better known as Cute Abiola, has broke silence on his arrest by the Nigerian Navy.
Recall that the Cute Abiola Entertainment Management in a statement, disclosed that the comedian his currently in the Nigerian Navy custody.
They also disclosed that the skit maker, since his arrest, was denied food and no date has been stated for his release from custody.
“It was subsequently gathered from a reliable source that he has been locked up in the Nigerian Navy cell since he got to the office yesterday morning till the time of posting this information without being fed and no date has been stated for his release from custody.
The most frustrating part is that nobody is saying anything as to the offence he has committed, but that he’s been detained on an order from the Nigerian Navy Headquarters” – part of the statement reads.
However, a chat and video that surfaced online a few hours ago captured Cute Abiola in a detention uniform, stating he is currently on a hot seat and can’t pick any call at the moment.
According to the source, the chat with a friend was days ago before he was detained and locked up inside the Nigerian Navy Guardroom without food.
