It Was Somebody I Had Helped In The Past That Poisoned Me – Mr. Ibu

Mr. Ibu, a popular Nollywood actor, recently recovered from poisoning. He revealed in an exclusive interview with Punch Newspaper’s program “Sunday Scoop” that he is now wary of new faces.

According to him, he later discovered that it was someone he had previously helped who poisoned him, and this has caused him to be skeptical whenever he is in the presence of unfamiliar faces.

He is still on the road to recovery, as he continues to receive treatment in Abuja for the poison in his system. He claimed that if God had not intervened, the outcome of his poisoning would have been disastrous.

He also charged the Nigerian government with being proactive in providing security for filmmakers and actors, as they serve the general public and the government whether they like it or not.

He stated that if the government wishes to better protect them, it can do so.
