“It’s A Constant Reminder Of Where I’m From”  – Rema Reveals Why He Loves ‘Bats’

Nigerian singer and fast-raisng star, Divine Ikubor popularly known as Rema has revealed why he loves bats and why he uses them as his signature emoji

Divine Ikubor was born into a Christian family in Benin City, Edo State. Rema grew up singing and rapping while in secondary school. He attained his primary and secondary school education in Edo State

Recalling that, Rema In an interactive session with his fans on, revealed that he will love to have a bat has a pet 

The “Dumebi” hit-maker in recent post he made on his social media pages on Twitter and Instagram, revealed the reason behind is love of ‘Bats’ and why bats are his signature emoji 

Sharing photos of himself, Rema explained that back in Benin City, when you look up in the sky in the evening, the only thing you can see is bats flying.

He further said that, bats reminds him of where he is from

He wrote;

“In Benin city, when you look up the sky in the evening all you see is bats flying and that’s why its my signature emoji, a constant reminder of where I’m from”
