“It’s Funny How Crazy They Look” – American comedy legend, Dave Chappelle says He Wants To Act In Nollywood Movies

American stand-up comedian and actor, David Khari Webber Chappelle has revealed that he will love to go to Africa and act some Nollywood movies, says something about it makes me feel joyful

David Khari Webber Chappelle, was born on the 24th of August , 1973 in Washington, D.C., United States, In 2016, he signed a $20 million-per-release comedy-special deal with Netflix and, as of 2019, he has released five stand-up specials under the deal.

Chappelle received his first Emmy Award in 2017 for his guest appearance on Saturday Night Live and In 2018, he received a Grammy Award for his Netflix-produced comedy album “The Age of Spin & Deep” in the Heart of Texas

During an interview with Joe Rogan, Dave Chappelle disclosed that he wants to go to Africa and act some of these Nollywood movies, when he was asked if he would consider acting again??

According to the comedian, he wants to star in a Nollywood movie because he is amazed at how people can solve problems with few resources.

Dave Chappelle also said that, it’s funny how crazy Nollywood characters look and that anytime he watches Nollywood movies something about it makes me feel joyful

“I have this weird idea. I want to go to Africa and do some of these Nollywood movies,”

“I’ve been watching them, and how people can solve problems with so little resources.

“This is what these African directors are like. The movies look crazy but it’s funny how crazy they look.

“But it is also inspiring because I can’t believe this guy with no resources solve complicated filmmaking problem with this type of ingenuity because they had to.

“What if there is a reputable American star to apply these tricks to?

“I come with this funny; you just give that look. Don’t you worry, it’s all going to work out.

“I want to do that, I want just to see what’s popping over there. Africa is popping right now.”

“I don’t know that I need one. You have to see one of these movies to see what I’m talking about,”

“It’s like something about it makes me feel joyful when I watch it.”
