Funke Akindele-Bello, a Nollywood actress and director, recently shared a video of herself riding an Okada bike in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial capital.

According to the mother of two, she had no choice but to get on her bike due to the heavy traffic on her route. She explained that she couldn’t afford to be held back by traffic, so she left her automobiles and jumped on a bike.

Funke Akindele, the executive producer of the popular film “Omo Ghetto,” which literally translates to “Child of the Slum,” said she rode her bike because she is a “omo ghetto.”

She shared the video on her Instagram page and wrote,

🙈🙈🙈 I quickly hopped on a bike!!! #notrafficwillholdmedown
As per #omoghetto concern!!”

The video elicited amusing responses on social media, with netizens pointing out that traffic in Lagos state would humble you regardless of your social standing or income.
