Legit.NG Poll: Asake Takes the Lead, Beats Burna Boy, Wizkid As Artiste With the Best Album in 2022
The release of records by a number of well-known musicians in 2022 has undoubtedly made it a very active year for the entertainment industry.
On his birthday, the Grammy-winning musician Burna Boy released his album Love, Damini. Wizkid, another Grammy-winning musician, also released “More Love, Less Ego.
Additionally, the albums Playboy and Mr. Money With The Vibe from two YBNL celebrities, Fireboy DML and Asake, were released. Legit.ng organized a poll on Twitter asking its followers to choose the body of work they thought was the finest in 2022 in order to find out which album was the crowd favorite.
Asake, YBNL’s newest signee, undoubtedly made a big impression on the music business, so it was no surprise when his Mr. Money With The Vibe album shot to the top of the charts. With 38.5% of the votes, Asake won the most. Burna Boy, a Grammy Award-winning musician, came in second in the vote with his album Love, Damini. Fans chose him with a 32.5% vote.
Interestingly, Fireboy outperformed Wizkid on the vote, placing third with 12.4% while Wizkid finished last with 16.6%.
